Welcome to the GBT (Growing and Building Together) Children’s Academy, a Child Development Center and Pre-School for ages 6 weeks to 12 years.  Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 6 am to 6 pm.

We have an environment where your child will receive the best possible care, coupled with an atmosphere that fosters children’s love of learning, and encourages creativity and fun. We are proud of what we do, and invite you to visit us, so we can show our clean and child-centric facility, age-specific classrooms, and personal play areas.

You will meet our knowledgeable, experienced and nurturing teachers, see classrooms filled with happy, healthy children, and enjoy children’s art work throughout the facility. Our goal is to link together with your family, your child, and our staff in a balanced-approach to learning. Our Philosophy

The GBT Children’s Academy has a hands-on approach to learning.  We do not watch television, unless with permission, as we feel that children learn BEST through activities and real-life situations! All children, including the shy, outspoken, energetic, and quiet, needs to be integrated in everyday learning.  The teachers and other adults (parents, strangers, actors/actresses) are key examples in children’s lives.

Psalms 127:3 states that children are a gift from God. The GBT Children’s Academy has a mission to nurture and develop children to their FULLEST POTENTIAL. The GBT Children’s Academy is a place for GROWING in four key developmental areas: Spiritual, Social, Cognitive and Physical. We will strive to meet the individual needs of every child in our educational program.

The GBT Children’s Academy is a place for BUILDING. For children to be successful, we place a focus on building a child’s character by nurturing and fostering self-esteem and developing positive relationships with others and they will learn that their relationship with God centers on the relationships they form with adults, parents and peers.

The GBT Children’s Academy is a place for parents, teachers and children to work TOGETHER. Children who graduate from our ACADEMY will continue on with a good sense of themselves and others in the world and possess a solid academic foundation in which to continue their education.
